  • 4 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, 18 inch, 24 inch, 30 inch and 36 inch header systems
  • 9 miles of header lines; 7 miles of well lateral piping – 275 permanent and 50 temporary odor control wells – 3 major blower systems with 100-250 hp motors
  • A dewatering system consisting of over 70 pneumatic pumps

Innovation has been at many levels and includes patented well field boots, the location of the main header system outside of waste, gas pressure equalization headers, condensate knockouts, and sectional isolation valves.

These Innovations have produced raw landfill gas consisting of 60% CH4 37% C02 3% N2 and .01% O2, which sustains a successful high BTU waste to energy project.

Gas quality can be managed by a system of hundreds of sample points dispersed throughout the collection system.

A system of valves and bypasses is used to isolate sections so work can be performed without interrupting the rest of the system.

All of this is aimed at better well field control for optimum LFG product quality and compliance.

Greentree has had no violations in the three years since this system was installed.
